This page covers how the Tailored Learning Zambia ecosystem — Tailored Study Companion, Tailored PTA, and the School Management System — may be used, including how AI features work inside the apps.

1. General Terms of Use

By using any app in the Tailored Learning Zambia ecosystem, you agree to use the platform for its intended purpose — supporting learning, teaching, and school administration aligned to the ECZ/CDC syllabus. Content, past papers, and tools are provided to support study and are not a guarantee of exam outcomes.

2. Accounts & Waitlists

Joining a waitlist reserves your place for early access and requires a valid email address. Account information you provide is used to set up and manage your access to the relevant app and is not sold to third parties.

3. AI Usage Guide

How we use AI in the Study Companion

The AI assistant inside Tailored Study Companion is a study aid, not a substitute for your own understanding or your teacher's guidance. Here's what that means in practice.

  • 1The assistant can make mistakes — with facts, working, or explanations. Always cross-check anything important against your textbook, notes, or teacher, especially before an exam.
  • 2It's built to help you learn, not to do the work for you. Use it to understand a concept, work through examples, or generate practice — not to skip the thinking.
  • 3Practice quizzes and generated questions are AI-assisted and are meant for self-testing. They're not a replacement for official ECZ past papers when it comes to exam preparation.
  • 4If the assistant ever gives you something that seems off, confusing, or contradicts what you've been taught, trust your teacher and your syllabus first.

4. Data & Privacy

We collect the minimum information needed to run each app — such as your email, role (student, teacher, or parent), and school details for the School Management System. This data is used to provide the service and is not shared with advertisers.
